Henry (neutered)

Sweet Henry is an older boy who has, so far, not had an easy life.
First, he and his brother were dumped outside a pet store in downtown Ottawa, but were luckily taken in by another animal rescue. Then they were transferred to us (Ottawa Pet Rat Rescue). They were incredibly sweet, and still extremely young, so we were able to find them what we believed would be a loving forever home.

Unfortunately, Henry was returned to us alone – and his personality had completely changed. He was now extremely skinny, with thin course hair and aggressive towards people.

After several months of giving him good food, lots of enrichment, and most importantly, slowly gaining his trust back, we are happy to announce that Henry is back to his sweet, cuddly, loving self!

He loves his people, he loves being cuddled and he can never get enough of face rubs.

We are thus, looking again for a forever home for Henry. His forever home needs to currently have rats, preferably females (so he can cuddle them). They must be able to prove that he will be loved and cared for and giving an environment that is full of enrichment.
