Baby sisters Basil and Oregano didn’t exactly have the best start to life. In fact, they were found at a dump in a bag along with their mom and seven brothers. Luckily they were found by a kind soul and brought to the SPCA in Montreal where they stayed for 3 weeks to ensure they were healthy and not pregnant.
Now they are in Ottawa with our Rescue and a wonderful foster family and ready to find a forever home. We estimate that these girls were born some time in late April or early May of 2025.
Though they look similar (Oregano has a spot on her back while her sister doesn’t), they do have unique personalities.
Basil is brave and adventurous. Always ready to come out and play, while Oregano is a little more timid and needs some time to warn up to her new people and surroundings. Both girls are extremely sweet and loving once they’ve settled in. Their favourite snacks so far are baby carrots and sweet apples.
