We know very little about this lovely duo of Bella and Pip.
They were surrendered to the SPCA Gatineau. The volunteers there suspected that they had been neglected as they arrived with large patches of missing hair and very dry skin. Hoping they would have a better chance at finding a forever home with a dedicated Rat Rescue, they were quickly transferred to us, and has been spoiled by our amazing foster family ever since.
We estimate Bell and Pip to be between 10-12 months old. Although they are fully grown, they are still so full of energy and love. They love to explore new play areas and hang out with their trusted humans.
While both are now healthy and the vast majority of their fur has grown back, unfortunately Pip does still tend to barber the hair off her own belly and one back leg. This behaviour thankfully is not harmful to her health. Any potential adopters should continue to observe her skin and give them both plenty of enrichment and things to chew and explore to discourage any neurotic or over-grooming behaviour.
