These sisters are the daughters of Nessie and Stella. We know that they were born on Dec. 28, 2025. It’s unfortunate that their original human over the last 10 months of their lives had no time and less energy to care for these girls. So due to lack of socialization, by the time their previous human decided to surrender them to the Rescue, they had become extremely skiddish and dirty.
Over the last month and a bit, their foster family has had to do a lot of work to slowly gain their trust.
With a lot of patience, treats and a safe, relatively calm home environment, we are happy to announce that Gracie and Bella are now ready for their forever home.
Their ideal forever home will have a calm home environment and if there are children, ideally over the age of 12 as they would need to have the patience and the stillness required to initially win over their trust. The best way to get these girls to trust their foster family is still to patiently wait by the cage until they decide they are comfortable enough to hop onto your arms or your shoulder. Once they have accepted you and trusted you, these girls are so sweet and lovely! They love to take treats from you and to just hang out around the house in your sweater or on your shoulder. They also love running around on their foster family’s bunkbeds with their tiny humans.
